SBS On Demand Unveils July 2026 Highlights Led By Alone Australia, Bosch: Legacy And Say Nothing – SBS On Demand has unveiled a packed July 2026 line-up featuring the return of one of Australia’s toughest reality series, major international dramas, acclaimed documentaries, a celebration of NAIDOC Week and an extensive collection of films.
Leading the month is the fourth season of Alone Australia, alongside the final season of Bosch: Legacy, Irish historical drama Say Nothing, Scottish thriller Six Four and the return of the acclaimed documentary series Couples Therapy.
Couples Therapy Returns
Kicking off the month on 1 July is Season 5 of Couples Therapy. The acclaimed documentary series once again follows psychoanalyst Dr Orna Guralnik as she counsels four new couples facing relationship challenges, including political differences, secret revelations and life-changing diagnoses. The nine-episode season arrives as a complete box set.
Bosch: Legacy Reaches Its Final Chapter
On 2 July, Bosch: Legacy returns for its third and final season.
Titus Welliver reprises his role as Harry Bosch, with the new season focusing on the murder investigation of Kurt Dockweiler, the disappearance of a family and a series of follow-home robberies that entangle Maddie Bosch. The 10-episode season will be available as a complete box set.
Tour De France Returns Live To SBS
Cycling fans can once again enjoy comprehensive coverage of the 2026 Tour de France, which begins on 5 July.
The race features four-time champion Tadej Pogačar chasing a historic fifth title, while Australians Jai Hindley, Ben O’Connor, Michael Storer and Luke Durbridge are all expected to feature prominently. The 2026 edition begins with a team time trial in Barcelona and spans 21 stages across Spain and France.
Former sprint star Caleb Ewan joins SBS’s commentary team this year alongside Matthew Keenan, David McKenzie, Dr Bridie O’Donnell and Simon Gerrans.
SBS Celebrates NAIDOC Week
From 5-12 July, SBS On Demand will mark NAIDOC Week with a dedicated collection of programming under the theme Deadly Then, Deadly Now, Deadly Always.
Highlights include:

• Living Black | Kutcha Edwards – Becoming One
• The Point | Black Money
The collection celebrates First Nations storytelling, leadership, culture and history while showcasing some of Australia’s most influential Indigenous voices and filmmakers.
Cult Comedy Party Down Arrives
Comedy fans can revisit all three seasons of cult favourite Party Down from 9 July.
The beloved sitcom stars Adam Scott, Jane Lynch, Ken Marino, Martin Starr, Ryan Hansen and Lizzy Caplan, following a group of struggling actors working for a Hollywood catering company while dreaming of bigger things.
Sci-Fi Favourite The Expanse Lands On SBS On Demand
From 11 July, SBS On Demand adds the first three seasons of acclaimed science-fiction series The Expanse.
Set hundreds of years in the future, the drama explores a fragile political landscape between Earth, Mars and the Asteroid Belt, with humanity standing on the brink of war. All 36 episodes will be available as a box set.
Alone Australia Heads To The Arctic Circle
The biggest local title of the month arrives on 15 July with the return of Alone Australia.
Season 4 takes the survival series further than ever before, transporting 10 Australians to the Arctic Circle in Finland. Battling freezing temperatures, dangerous wildlife and dwindling resources, contestants face what SBS describes as the most gruelling season yet.
The new season premieres with weekly episodes on SBS and SBS On Demand.
New Crime Thriller Cold Haven Makes Australian Debut
Premiering on 16 July, Cold Haven is an Icelandic-Portuguese psychological crime thriller.
The eight-part drama begins when a mother and factory worker is found dead on a remote Icelandic island, exposing long-buried secrets and threatening to destroy an entire community. The series will be available as a complete box set with English subtitles.
Scottish Thriller Six Four Arrives
Kevin McKidd and Vinette Robinson star in four-part thriller Six Four, premiering on 29 July.
The series follows a police detective and his former undercover officer wife as they investigate the disappearance of their teenage daughter while uncovering links to an infamous unsolved kidnapping case.
Irish Drama Say Nothing Closes Out July
The month concludes with the Australian premiere of Say Nothing on 30 July.
Based on the bestselling book by Patrick Radden Keefe, the nine-part drama explores murder and memory during The Troubles in Northern Ireland.
Starring Lola Petticrew, Anthony Boyle, Josh Finan, Hazel Doupe and Rory Kinnear, the series spans four decades and begins with the disappearance of Jean McConville in 1972.
