Trailer: The Runner starring Gal Gadot and Damian Lewis available globally on Prime Video September 2, 2026 – Prime Video has released the official trailer for The Runner, a psychological thriller led by Gal Gadot.

The film premieres globally on Prime Video on September 2, 2026.

A race through London

The Runner follows Maia Marten, a high-powered London lawyer played by Gadot. During a routine morning run, a phone call changes everything: her son has been taken.

The instructions are simple and merciless. Maia must keep moving, follow every command and tell no one. If she stops, her son dies.

The release describes the film as a pulse-pounding psychological thriller that plays out across London’s streets and underground tunnels.

Cast and creative team

The film stars Gal Gadot, Damian Lewis, Rory Wilmot and Alfred Enoch. It is directed by Kevin Macdonald and written by Mark Gibson.

David Kosse produces, with Jane Robertson, Amy Paquette, Elliott Kleinberg and Claire Willats serving as executive producers.

The release lists the film as an 84-minute thriller, suspense and action title from Amazon MGM Studios.
