Prime Video unveils trailer for Rachel Morrison’s Love of Your Life – Prime Video has released the official trailer and first-look images for Love of Your Life, the new romance starring Margaret Qualley and directed by Rachel Morrison.
The film arrives globally on Prime Video on October 14. It marks Morrison’s latest feature as director and pairs Qualley with Aaron Pierre, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Gabriel Basso and Catherine Keener.
Qualley plays Maya, whose chance meeting with Charlie, played by Basso, begins a sweeping romance. When her future is suddenly upended, Maya must confront grief, romance, adventure and the possibility of loving again.
Morrison said the story’s idea that profound grief can give way to appreciation and gratitude connected with her personally. Julia Cox wrote the screenplay, while Ryan Gosling and Jessie Henderson produce.
The trailer introduces the central relationship between Maya and Charlie before following Maya through the changes that reshape her life. It gives audiences the first public sense of the film’s emotional journey, as Maya works through loss while meeting new possibilities.
Qualley leads an ensemble that also includes Tamara Lawrance and Corey Johnson alongside Pierre, Schwarzenegger, Basso and Keener. Morrison is known for her cinematography work as well as directing, while Cox previously wrote the screenplay for Nyad.
For Prime Video viewers, the October date adds another original film to the service’s global release slate. The first-look imagery places Qualley’s Maya at the centre of the film’s Lisbon-set story.
The trailer provides the first public look at the film before its global Prime Video premiere on October 14.
