A new take on Carrie White
The series is written and executive produced by showrunner Mike Flanagan, who also directs four episodes. Stephen King also serves as an executive producer.
Prime Video describes Carrie as a bold, timely and surprising reinvention of King’s coming-of-age story.
The series follows Carrie White, a misfit high school student who has spent her life hidden away with her fiercely protective mother, Margaret.
After her father’s sudden death pushes her into public high school, Carrie faces a viral bullying scandal, the pressures of the social-media age and the rise of mysterious telekinetic powers.
