Paramount+ Australia reveals first look at original drama Dalliance — Paramount+ has released the first look at its Australian drama Dalliance. All six episodes premiere on Thursday, 27 August.
The series stars Heather Mitchell, Hugo Weaving, David Wenham and Georgie Parker. They lead a large Australian ensemble cast.
For Paramount+ in Australia, Dalliance continues the streamer’s local scripted push. It also brings together actors known for major Australian dramas, including Home and Away, All Saints, Love Me, Fake and Wentworth.
A Sydney Story
Dalliance follows retired cameraman Billy, played by Hugo Weaving.
Billy unexpectedly meets chef Dani, played by Heather Mitchell. Their instant connection threatens decades of friendship and family history.
Then one life-changing event sends shockwaves through their community. Marriages are tested. New relationships begin. Old wounds return.
The characters must face the choices that shaped their lives. As a result, the drama explores secrets, second chances and relationships in later life.
The series was filmed across Sydney. The Harbour City provides the backdrop for the close-knit group of lifelong friends.

Dalliance was created by John Edwards, Heather Mitchell, Pip Karmel and Liz Doran.
John Edwards, Heather Mitchell and Dan Edwards produce the series. Sophia Mogford and Pip Karmel serve as executive producers.
Karmel also serves as story producer. The writing team includes Pip Karmel, Jock Serong, Christopher Lee and Liz Doran.
Matthew Saville and Emma Jackson direct.
