Netflix November 2026 highlights – Netflix Australia’s November line-up spans an Australian sci-fi film, a returning spy thriller, new international dramas, festive films, live sport and a broad catalogue of familiar cinema titles.
The Australian-made Allen arrives on 12 November, while Black Doves returns for a second season on 5 November. Later in the month, The Altruists and The Mosquito Bowl bring sharply different dramas, and Netflix’s first Thanksgiving Eve NFL game is scheduled for 10am AEDT on 26 November. For local subscribers, the slate is notably wider than the handful of headline releases: it also includes series from Europe, Asia and Latin America, documentaries, children’s titles and licensed films.
Dates below are Australian Netflix dates supplied for November 2026. They can change, so check the service when you are ready to watch. Here are the major releases first, followed by the full month-by-month category guide.
November’s biggest Netflix arrivals
Allen — 12 November
The Australian film Allen follows Petey, whose childhood encounter with an alien has shaped the next 20 years of his life. When that old friend returns, the reunion brings a secret with potentially catastrophic consequences. The cast includes T.J. Power, Charlotte Nicdao, Josh Helman, Emily Barclay and Benedict Hardie. It is the clearest Australian production in this month’s announced slate.
Black Doves season two — 5 November
Helen is navigating her life as the prime minister’s wife as Sam faces a deadly ultimatum. An attack on Reed pulls them into another search for answers. Keira Knightley and Ben Whishaw return, with Sarah Lancashire, Andrew Buchan, Neve Campbell, Ella Lily Hyland, Gabrielle Creevy, Babou Ceesay, Sam Riley and Ambika Mod among the announced cast. The thriller is one of November’s earliest returning-series releases.
A Dog’s Perfect Christmas — 4 November
Netflix’s first big festive film of the month follows Winstead, a dog trying to pull the Goss family back together after a medical emergency. The ensemble includes Dennis Quaid, Milo Ventimiglia, Brooke Lena Johnson, Thomas Haden Church, Mary Steenburgen, Kathleen Rose Perkins and Jennifer Tilly. Its Christmas Eve deadline gives the family story an early-November start to holiday viewing.
Possible Love — 6 November
Director Lee Chang-dong’s South Korean film brings together a laid-off worker and his wife with a documentary filmmaker and her spouse. Their encounters force hidden desires into the open. The cast includes Jeon Do-yeon, Sul Kyung-gu, Zo In-sung and Cho Yeo-jeong, making this one of the month’s notable international film releases.
The Body — 11 November
On Halloween night, an all-girls dance squad’s initiation takes a sinister turn, opening the door to guilt, desire and ghostly visions. Kristina Bogic, Geena Meszaros, Sara Boustany, Jackson Kelly, Sofia Wylie, Shirley Chen, Louisa Krause and Nnamdi Asomugha are among the cast. Although its story is set at Halloween, the series arrives in Australia on 11 November.
Guarding Stars — 18 November
A bodyguard and the famous actor she protects head to a Montana ranch, where posing as a couple for Christmas becomes complicated by real attraction. Leighton Meester and Jared Padalecki lead a cast that also includes Andie MacDowell, CM Punk, Noah LaLonde, Toby Sandeman and Rachael Ancheril. It is another romantic festive choice in a month that also brings The Christmas Switch and The Gospel of Christmas.
The Altruists — 19 November
Young idealists become billionaires and set out to do good, only for their relationship to turn destructive. Inspired by a real fraud, the American series stars Julia Garner, Anthony Boyle, Karan Soni, Naomi Okada, Madison Hu, Matt Rife, Eugene Young and Alex Lawther. Netflix frames the story as both a financial cautionary tale and a toxic romance.
Steps — 20 November
The Cinderella story gets an offbeat animated twist when Lilith, one of the supposedly evil stepsisters, steals the Fairy Godmother’s wand. Ali Wong, Amanda Seyfried, Stephanie Hsu, Nikki Glaser, Daniel Radcliffe, Young Mazino, Peter Dinklage and Bette Midler are among the voice cast. The film is the month’s most prominent new family movie.
The Mosquito Bowl — 25 November
After Pearl Harbor, four college football stars enlist in the US Marines and face the costs of war. Nicholas Galitzine, Bill Skarsgård, Ray Nicholson, Tom Francis, Brent Comer and Dominic Bogart star. Its wartime story is distinct from the live NFL event that follows the next day on Netflix Australia.
NFL Netflix Gameday: Packers v Rams — 26 November
The Green Bay Packers meet the Los Angeles Rams in the NFL’s first Thanksgiving Eve matchup. The game is listed for 10am AEDT on Thursday, 26 November for Australian viewers. That is a live streaming time, unlike the on-demand launch dates elsewhere in this guide.
