Lee Cronin’s The Mummy Streams Exclusively on HBO Max – Warner Bros. Pictures’ new horror film Lee Cronin’s The Mummy will make its global streaming debut exclusively on HBO Max.
The film stars Jack Reynor, Laia Costa, May Calamawy and Natalie Grace, with Veronica Falcón.
The story follows the young daughter of a journalist who disappears into the desert without a trace. Eight years later, she returns to her devastated family.
At first, her return should bring relief and joy. Instead, the reunion quickly becomes something far more terrifying.
As the family tries to understand what happened, the nightmare begins to unfold. What comes back from the desert may not be the same child they lost.
The film comes from writer and director Lee Cronin, who brings a new vision to the classic horror mythology.
In addition, the film has a strong producing team behind it. James Wan, Jason Blum and John Keville produce the film, bringing together major names from modern horror.
Michael Clear, Judson Scott, Macdara Kelleher and Lee Cronin serve as executive producers.
HBO Max is the global streaming platform from Warner Bros. Discovery. The service brings together scripted programming, movies, documentaries, true crime and adult animation.
It also features major entertainment brands including HBO, Warner Bros., Max Originals, DC and Harry Potter.
Viewers can also find iconic series including Friends and The Big Bang Theory on the platform.
With its desert mystery, family trauma and supernatural horror elements, the film adds another major title to HBO Max’s July streaming line-up.
Lee Cronin’s The Mummy debuts Friday 3 July, only on HBO Max.
