SNL UK will return for a second season on HBO Max in Australia this September.
The British version of the iconic late-night sketch comedy format premieres on Monday 14 September, only on HBO Max in Australia.
For Australian streaming viewers, the return gives HBO Max another weekly comedy format with a familiar global brand. It also keeps the UK adaptation moving quickly after its debut season, with the first six episodes of season two arriving in 2026 and more shows planned for early 2027.
SNL UK Returns For Season Two
Produced by Universal Television Alternative Studio’s UK production team and Broadway Video, SNL UK brings the live sketch, celebrity host and musical guest format to a British setting.
HBO Max says the new season will continue the high-wire energy of Saturday Night Live, reimagined through a distinctly British lens.
All 11 members of the inaugural cast are returning for season two.
Returning Cast
The returning cast includes Ayoade Bamgboye, Al Nash, Annabel Marlow, Celeste Dring, Emma Sidi, George Fouracres, Hammed Animashaun, Jack Shep and Larry Dean.
Weekend Update anchors Ania Magliano and Paddy Young are also back for the second season.
