HBO Max November 2026 highlights – HBO Max has set out its Australian November line-up, led by the six-part drama Adultery, the Berlin crime prequel 4 Blocks Zero and a run of new films and documentaries. The dates below are the service’s announced Australian streaming dates; as always, additions can change.
This month offers more than one type of viewing. Scripted drama and thrillers arrive throughout the first half of November, while HBO documentary films take a stronger place from 18 November. HBO Max has also supplied a day-by-day list that includes returning factual series, Warner Bros. films and library additions. The full calendar follows the featured titles.
Adultery begins 1 November
Adultery lands on Sunday 1 November, with all six episodes available together. Dominic Cooper and Romola Garai star as Tom Kirkman and Beth Brookes, whose affair upends their lives. The story moves through class, grief, parenthood and social media’s influence as their relationship produces consequences neither expects. Daniel Brocklehurst created the series.

HBO documentary films through November
When a Witness Recants arrives on Wednesday 18 November, with one episode listed for its same-day US and Australian debut. It revisits the 1983 murder of a 14-year-old boy at Harlem Park Junior High School in Baltimore. Three local teenagers were convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment, although they were innocent. The documentary examines the harm done to the accused and the community, including testimony later recanted by witnesses who said they were pressured as teenagers.
On Thursday 19 November, The Hotline looks inside Never Use Alone, an overdose-prevention helpline in the United States. Its volunteers offer callers a non-judgemental presence while they use opioids and can contact emergency services if someone becomes unresponsive. HBO Max lists one episode for its same-day US arrival.
The Buffalo Miracle follows on Wednesday 25 November, also with one episode listed for the day. The documentary tells how strangers found shelter and friendship inside a McDonald’s that stayed open during a devastating Buffalo blizzard.
The Slightest Touch arrives Thursday 26 November. It follows Emma Fogarty, who lives with the painful genetic condition epidermolysis bullosa, and her long-time friend Colin Farrell. Together they take on the Dublin Marathon, with Farrell pushing her wheelchair over the final miles. The film explores Fogarty’s life and the friendship behind the challenge. One episode is listed, arriving the same day as in the US.
