Hayu Presents brings six reality stars together for Wrapped finale – Craig Conover, Shep Rose, Cynthia Bailey, Dorinda Medley, Alexia Nepola and Meredith Marks share the spotlight in a special Hayu Presents… episode about friendship, fame and reinvention.

The Australian connection is host Dean McCarthy, who guides three paired conversations rather than a conventional reunion. For local Hayu viewers, the format offers more time with familiar faces from four Real Housewives and Southern Charm franchises, while the full discussion is also available as a video podcast.

Produced by Hayu and JamPot Productions, the 41-minute Wrapped episode closes the first season’s 12-part weekly run. Each pairing examines a different side of life on reality television, from a long-running friendship to the work that continues beyond a franchise.

Craig Conover and Shep Rose revisit their friendship

Southern Charm stars Craig Conover and Shep Rose look back over 12 years of friendship, including fallouts, shared adventures and the challenge of accepting one another’s differences. Rather than pretending their disagreements have disappeared, the pair describe how their relationship improved when they stopped trying to change each other.

“We learned to be okay with the other person not being like we are… maybe we just let each other live our lives and cheer for us,” Conover says. They also talk about the softer parts of their friendship: both admit that a romantic comedy can make them cry, and they regularly tell each other they love one another.

Cynthia Bailey and Dorinda Medley on authenticity

Cynthia Bailey of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and Dorinda Medley of The Real Housewives of New York City discuss the pressure of filming personal lives and the resilience needed to stay in the public eye. Medley reflects on rebuilding after the death of her husband Richard, while the pair consider which Housewives have found ways to reinvent themselves.

For Bailey, the enduring appeal of the format comes down to honesty. “Being authentic. That is the secret,” she says. She adds that viewers can recognise an overly polished version of reality: “The fans are smart now. They know. They can spot BS… There is no way to show your life other than to just show your life – the good, the bad and the ups and downs.”

Alexia Nepola and Meredith Marks look ahead

Alexia Nepola from The Real Housewives of Miami and Meredith Marks from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City turn to work outside their shows. Nepola talks about her beauty business, motherhood and an ambition to move into motivational speaking. She also considers the friendships and cultural reach of the wider Housewives franchise.

Marks describes reinvention as an ongoing process, not a post-television plan. “Life is just about growing and reinventing and creating and doing new things. I feel like I’ve barely even scratched the surface,” she says.

Watch the Hayu Presents Wrapped finale

The episode is available to hear through podcast services and to watch on Hayu’s public YouTube channel. The video lets viewers see the pairings and McCarthy’s exchanges as well as hear the full conversations.

The first season has also featured Paris Hilton, Luann de Lesseps, Juliet Angus, Panthea Parker, Elizabeth Day and Cheryl The Queen. Across the series, guests revisit the relationships and moments that keep reality television in conversation well beyond an episode’s first screening.
