KATSEYE: Wild Hearts streams on Disney+ in October – KATSEYE’s documentary film is moving from cinemas to streaming, with its Australian Disney+ premiere set for Friday, 16 October.
KATSEYE: Wild Hearts will be available internationally on Disney+. In the United States, the film will stream on both Disney+ and Hulu from the same date.
The streaming release opens the film to a wider Australian audience after its limited theatrical run. It also arrives during a major period for the global girl group, following the launch of The Wildworld Tour and a number-one Billboard 200 debut for the EP WILD.
Wild Hearts celebrates KATSEYE and the EYEKONS
The documentary follows KATSEYE into what its creators describe as a bold new era. At the same time, it celebrates the fans who helped the group build a global following.
Never-before-seen footage is combined with videos submitted by EYEKONS and intimate interviews with the group members. Together, those elements explore the relationship between KATSEYE and its fandom.
The film is positioned as a love letter to the EYEKONS. Rather than focusing only on performances and chart results, it looks at the community that formed around the group and supported its rise.
From Dream Academy to global pop success
KATSEYE: Wild Hearts also revisits the demanding process that shaped the group. Its story begins with the pressure of Dream Academy and follows the members through their move into the international pop market.
Audiences will see the highs and setbacks behind that progression. The film covers sacrifices, breakthrough moments and the viral success that helped transform KATSEYE into one of pop’s most closely watched emerging acts.
That journey now extends across music, live performance and film. The Disney+ arrival follows the documentary’s limited cinema season, while The Wildworld Tour began earlier in September.
WILD adds another chart milestone
The group’s third EP, WILD, provides another part of the film’s wider context. The release debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, placing the documentary’s streaming launch alongside KATSEYE’s latest chart milestone.
The timing gives fans a chance to revisit the work and decisions behind the group’s rise while its newest music and live shows continue that story.
Nadia Hallgren directs the documentary
Filmmaker Nadia Hallgren directs KATSEYE: Wild Hearts. Interscope Films and Boardwalk Pictures produce the film in partnership with HYBE x Geffen.
The production uses interviews, archival material and fan contributions to connect the members’ personal experiences with the scale of the group’s international audience.
