BritBox annual subscription drops to $75 in Australian offer – BritBox has cut the price of a 12-month Australian subscription to $75 for new and returning customers. The offer saves $64.99 against the usual $139.99 annual price and runs until 11pm AEDT on Friday 30 October 2026.

The important distinction for viewers comparing streaming costs is that $75 is paid upfront. BritBox describes it as equivalent to $6.25 a month, but it is an annual purchase, not a new monthly rate. The subscription also renews automatically after the first 12 months unless it is cancelled before the billing period ends.

BritBox says the plan will renew at the then-current annual price, stated in the offer terms as $139.99. Customers can switch off automatic renewal in their account. That makes the renewal setting worth checking as soon as the discounted year has been purchased.

Who can claim the BritBox deal?

The sale is open to both new and returning BritBox subscribers from 9 October. No promotional code is needed. Eligible customers can sign up through the BritBox website or through supported Apple and Google devices, including iOS, tvOS, Android mobile and Android TV.

The deal cannot be combined with other offers and is not available on every device. Viewers should confirm the $75 annual price appears at checkout before completing their subscription. The published offer closes at 11pm AEDT on 30 October; after that, the standard annual price applies unless BritBox announces another promotion.

What is on BritBox?

The service’s library includes long-running British favourites such as Death in Paradise, Midsomer Murders and Doc Martin, as well as David Attenborough programming. BritBox also highlights dramas, comedies and originals in its Australian catalogue.

Among its current selections are season two of The Hardacres, which arrived on 1 October, and season 18 of Would I Lie to You?, listed from 9 October. BritBox also points to season five of Professor T, Holding and season three of Marble Hall Murders. Viewers can check the Australian catalogue for the latest availability before subscribing.

BritBox is advertising ad-free on-demand viewing as part of the annual plan. The main decision for households is therefore whether a full year of its British-focused catalogue is worth the upfront cost, especially with the automatic renewal at the regular rate after the promotional period.
