A Friend of the Family on 7plus – Exclusive 7plus show streams 30 million minutes.
The Seven Network’s video-on-demand and streaming service 7plus has scored a runaway hit with the gripping true crime drama series, A Friend of the Family.
More than 30 million minutes of the series, which is exclusive to 7plus, have been watched since it debuted on 25 October. That represents 7% of all VOD minutes on 7plus since that date.
7plus is the home of prestige drama and premium content, with more than 70% of the content on 7plus exclusive to it and almost 60% of all viewing coming from non-broadcast programming – with all content accessible to Australians for free.
A Friend of the Family ranks at the #1 US drama across all BVOD platforms since its launch date and has scored the highest conversion rate on 7plus, with more than half of the people who watched the first episode having finished the entire series after less than a month.
The first episode of the nine-part series, which is based on the harrowing true story of the Broberg family, has had 100,000 viewers on 7plus. It ranks as the third most-watched show (by single season) on 7plus since 25 October, behind SAS Australia and Home and Away.

The entertainment content on 7plus includes premium, first-run content from the biggest and best studios in the world, including NBCUniversal, Disney, Fox, Sony Pictures, ITV Studios and many more. 7plus also includes more than 50 FAST channels.
