The Agenda Setters: Luke Keary calls Jarome Luai social post “borderline childish” — On Channel 7’s The Agenda Setters: Rugby League, Luke Keary criticised Jarome Luai’s cryptic Instagram activity after Wests Tigers’ loss to St George Illawarra, saying it was “not a great look”.
Keary said Luai would likely admit he had not been at his best for the Tigers. However, he said Luai had responded well on the field after being called out by coach Benji Marshall.
“The thing for me is the cryptic messages and things like this, it’s borderline childish.”

Keary questioned the timing of the Instagram post, which he said appeared shortly after the Tigers’ defeat to the Dragons.
“Honestly, to go on Instagram ten minutes after your team loses to the Dragons, you’re not even up the ground,” Keary said. “It’s not a great look mate.”
He added that teammates would have been unhappy if a similar post had come from inside one of his own dressing rooms.
“I know as a teammate, if one of my teammates did that, you wouldn’t be happy.”

David Riccio noted during the discussion that the post had not gone down well. Keary agreed, saying: “Obviously it didn’t go down well.”
