Former World Champion Tszyu headlines No Limit Boxing’s Fight Card at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre when he takes on rising American Joey Spencer.
The bout begins one of the biggest weeks in Main Event history, with fellow Aussie and former UFC Champion Alexander Volkanovski looking to reclaim his Featherweight Title at UFC 314 next weekend.
This Sunday’s fight carries extra significance for Tszyu – the 30-year-old is not only seeking another attempt at a world title shot but also looking to maintain his family’s dominance in Newcastle. The trio of father Kostya, brother Nikita and Tim currently boast an incomparable 50-0 record on Australian soil.
Tszyu is coming off the back of two unfortunate losses in the US but is determined to get back in the winning circle and climb the world rankings once again.
Former two-time World Welterweight Champion Shawn Porter will provide commentary and expert analysis across the week ahead of Sunday’s fights.
