Seven News was #1 for the night with a reach lead of 116 000 and an average audience lead of 100 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #6 with 1 360 000 (864 000). The Americas was #10 with 1 148 000 (524 000). The Hunting Party was #21 with 661 000 (260 000). The Agenda Setters was #37 with 425 000 (147 000). The Irrational was on 268 000 (100 000). St Denis Medical was on 67 000 (36 000).

Nine

9News was #3 for the night. A Current Affair was #4 with 1 640 000 (1 084 000). A repeat of Travel Guides was #2 with 1 998 000 (916 000). The movie, The Dish was #13 with 824 000 (203 000). Footy Classified was #23 with 651 000 (200 000). 9News Late was #45 with 339 000 (191 000). A repeat of Australian Crime Stories was #50 with 311 000 (107 000). A repeat of The Equalizer was on 212 000 (99 000).

Deal or No Deal was #34 with 479 000 (254 000). The Project was #15 with 787 000 (309 000). The Dog House Australia was #12 with 950 000 (353 000). NCIS was #25 with 576 000 (261 000). A repeat of NCIS was #28 with 549 000 (155 000). 10’s Late News was on 272 000 (151 000).

ABC

ABC News was #8 for the night. 730 was #7 with 1 298 000 (770 000). Foreign Correspondent was #18 with 731 000 (491 000). Creative Types with Virginia Trioli was #22 with 655 000 (408 000). A repeat of Finding the Archibald was #31 with 514 000 (200 000). A repeat of The ABC Of was on 220 000 (103 000). ABC Late News was on 206 000 (57 000).

SBS

SBS World News was on 306 000 (180 000). SBS World News 7pm was on 280 000 (144 000). A repeat of Great Coastal Railway Journeys was #46 with 339 000 (119 000). Insight was #35 with 451 000 (183 000). Dateline was on 258 000 (129 000).

NINE

  • Travel Guides Encore dominated the 7.30pm timeslot with Total People across Australia and in all five metro capitals. It also won with all key demos in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.998 million, a Total TV National Audience of 916,000 and a BVOD audience of 85,000. 
  • 9News was the No. 1 program of the night with Total People and No. 1 news bulletin with all key demos across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It was also the No. 1 program of the night with People 25-54 and 16-39 in Adelaide. The combined national bulletins secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.984 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.231 million – up 7.9% year-on-year. On 9Now, its BVOD Audience of 116,000 was up 43.2% on the same night last year. 
  • A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot with Total People across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.640 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.084 million – up 7.2% year-on-year. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 101,000 – up 34.7% year-on-year.
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No. 1 afternoon game show with Total People and all key demos across Australia and in all five metro capitals. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.408 million and a Total TV National Audience of 758,000, up 16.8% when compared to the same day last year. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 63,000 – up a massive 57.5% year-on-year.
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice with Total People in Melbourne and Brisbane. It was also the preferred breakfast program with People 25-54 and People 16-39 in Sydney. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 815,000, a Total TV National Audience of 319,000 (up 4.9% on the same morning last year) and a BVOD audience of 43,000 – up 26.5% year-on-year.
  • The 9Network was the No. 1 network across the 5 City Metro with Total People and all key demos. 
  • 9Now was the No. 1 CFTA BVOD platform on Tuesday with Total People and all key demos.

7NEWS wins Tuesday, 7plus rises 38%

·       National total TV audience share, 6.00am to midnight: 37.9%

·       National total TV audience share, 6.00pm to midnight: 36.4%

·       7plus: up 38% year-on-year

·       7NEWS: #1 program, reaches 2.1 million

·       Home and Away: reaches 1.36 million

·       Sunrise: #1 at breakfast, 23% bigger than Today

1 April 2025:

Seven Network reaches 5.38 million Australians nationally.

7plus up 38% year-on-year.

7NEWS Tuesday: #1 program in all people and grocery shoppers. National reach 2.1 million, national audience 1.33 million. Up on last week.
