Florida have claimed both regular season showdowns again Edmonton this National Hockey League season.

The Panthers prevailed 6-5 in December, before another slender 4-3 win against the Oilers in February.

Edmonton enters the Stanley Cup Final for the ninth time, in the process becoming just the eighth team to reach the championship decider after going two games down in their opening NHL playoff series.

Florida is looking to go back-to-back, having lifted the Stanley Cup last season. They are just the ninth franchise to reach three consecutive finals and second in the past 40 years.

Whilst Florida will enter Game One on the road in Edmonton, the Panthers will be buoyed in the fact that they have won their past five playoff games on the road.
