LIVE INTERNATIONAL CRICKET RETURNS TO ABC SPORT
Live international cricket is returning to ABC Sport, with coverage of Australian Test cricket beginning this August.
ABC Sport will stream every Australian men’s and women’s international match throughout the season nationwide on ABC listen Sport.
For cricket fans, the return gives the summer a strong free audio presence across Tests, white-ball fixtures and major international series, backed by one of Australia’s most recognisable commentary teams.
ABC Sport Commentary Team
The season will be led by ABC Sport commentators Corbin Middlemas, Jim Maxwell and Ben Cameron.
They will be joined across the summer by former international players including Glenn McGrath, Jason Gillespie, Stuart Clark, Xavier Doherty and Phil Jaques.
Coverage Highlights
ABC Sport’s cricket coverage begins with Australia’s men’s Tests against Bangladesh, with matches scheduled for Darwin from 13 to 17 August and Mackay from 22 to 26 August.
The wider season also includes the Australia v New Zealand men’s Test series from December, the Australian women’s white-ball series against New Zealand in October, and the Australian men’s white-ball series against England in November.
The schedule continues into 2027 with Australia’s men’s tour of India in January and February, followed by the 150th Test Match between Australia and England at the MCG in March.
ABC Cricket Podcast
The ABC Cricket Podcast will also return during the season, giving listeners extra analysis, interviews and reaction around the major matches.
ABC Sport says its coverage will be available nationally through ABC listen Sport.
