Cricket’s Summer of the Century begins on Fox Sports and Kayo Sports this Thursday, with Australia opening its Top End Test series against Bangladesh in Darwin.
The first Test begins at Marrara Stadium on Thursday 13 August, with every ball live and ad-break free during play on Fox Cricket, available on Kayo Sports.
For Australian cricket viewers, this marks the start of an unusually packed eight-month run across the men’s and women’s international calendars. The summer builds from the Bangladesh Tests through major series against South Africa, England, New Zealand and India, before the 150th Anniversary Test at the MCG in March.
Australia Returns To Darwin
The opening Test will be the first international Test played in the Top End for more than two decades. Adam Gilchrist, who played in Australia’s last Test in Darwin against Bangladesh in 2003, will be part of Fox Cricket’s commentary team.
Fox Sports’ coverage will also feature Alyssa Healy, Kerry O’Keeffe, David Warner, Mark Waugh and Brendon Julian. Healy will make her first commentary-box appearance since being announced as the newest permanent member of the Fox Cricket team.
First Test Schedule
The NRMA Insurance Bangladesh Test Series begins at Marrara Stadium in Darwin, with day one coverage starting at 9.30am AEST and the first ball at 10.30am AEST.

- Saturday 15 August: Day 3 from 10.00am AEST

The second Test then moves to Great Barrier Reef Arena in Mackay from Saturday 22 August.

A Full Summer Ahead
Fox Sports says the Summer of the Century will include Australia’s men’s Test, ODI and T20 commitments, as well as a major women’s international schedule from October. The WBBL begins on 29 October, while the BBL starts in Chennai on 12 December when the Melbourne Renegades face the Perth Scorchers.
