Lewis said she had considered cutting back her program before racing in Slovakia. That meeting changed her plans.

I won beating Elaine Thompson, which is, I think, a little bit more of a flex than the time, low key.

This kind of made the decision for me that I’m definitely doing the 100m and, you know, I really do want to do the 200m as well.

A demanding Glasgow schedule

Lewis said her Games week could be demanding if she progresses through the rounds.

The 100 and 200 double and the relay, there is no day in between. So, Monday is day one and I’ll be running up until Saturday, if all goes well.

She also expects the Glasgow weather to make the finals about race-day execution rather than fast times.
