Meg Harris leads Australian clean sweep in Glasgow 2026 100m freestyle – Meg Harris has won gold in the women’s 100m freestyle at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, leading an Australian sweep of the podium on Seven’s coverage.
Harris touched first ahead of Molly O’Callaghan, who claimed silver, and Shayna Jack, who completed the Australian one-two-three with bronze.
For Seven and 7plus Sport, the sweep gave the nightly Commonwealth Games coverage another major Australian moment, with the Dolphins continuing to drive the early medal story from Glasgow.

Seven commentator Alister Nicholson called the finish as Harris held off her Australian teammates at the wall.

Harris told Ariarne Titmus after the race that she knew O’Callaghan would chase hard in the final stages and was hoping she could hold her off.

The Seven ICYMI release also highlighted Jenna Forrester’s second individual gold of the Games in the women’s 400m individual medley, with Ella Ramsay winning bronze for Australia.
Rookie Beau Matthews also won gold for Australia in the men’s 100m breaststroke SB9 final.
