Shaun Burgoyne to make Fox Footy commentary debut at Indigenous All Stars match – Four-time premiership winner Shaun Burgoyne will kick off his Fox Footy career this weekend, offering special comments as part of the AFL Indigenous All-Stars match.
The match will be live and exclusive on Fox Footy, available on Kayo Sports and Foxtel. More than 30 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander AFL players will go head-to-head against Fremantle at Optus Stadium on Saturday.
Burgoyne will be joined at the desk by an elite line-up of ex-players, commentators and hosts including Eddie Betts, Matthew Pavlich, Adam Papalia and Kath Loughnan.
Burgoyne said:
”Really excited to be involved for my first game with Fox Footy. It’s such a special occasion commentating the All-Stars v Fremantle to kick start an exciting year with Fox Sports and Kayo.”
Fox Footy’s broadcast kicks off at 7pm AEDT with the first bounce at 7:30pm. Coverage will include interviews and analysis from current and past legends of the game from both Fremantle and the All-Stars.
During the 2025 AFL season, Fox Footy commentary and production will be available on all games for the first time along with no ad-breaks during play and every match will also be made available in 4K on Kayo Sports and Foxtel.
