Seven News was #2 for the night with a reach audience loss of 44 000 and an average audience lead of 15 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #8 with 1 259 000 (882 000). RFDS was #6 with 1 302 000 (794 000). Off the Grid with Colin and Manu was #11 with 1 019 000 (526 000). House of Wellness was #22 with 585 000 (220 000). Chicago Fire was #69 with 236 000 (100 000). The Amazing Race was #120 with 133 000 (54 000).

Sunrise – Early – 515 000 (254 000)

The Chase UK – 401 000 (225 000)

Nine

9News was #1 for the night. A Current Affair was #3 with 1 478 000 (1 023 000). Budget Battlers was #4 with 1 377 000 (554 000). Love Island Australia was #13 with 955 000 (368 000). 9News Late was #55 with 278 000 (116 000). Confessions of a Teenage Fraudster was #57 with 276 000 (99 000). Resident Alien was #133 with 122 000 (51 000).

10 News+ was #38 for the night. Deal or No Deal was #36 with 370 000 (221 000). The Celebrity Traitors UK was #20 with 602 000 (203 000). Is Australia Ready for War? was #28 with 476 000 (132 000). 10’s Late News was #93 with 173 000 (94 000). The Gilded Age was #91 with 178 000 (58 000).

ABC

ABC News was #10 for the night. 730 was #7 with 1 299 000 (877 000). Hard Quiz was #14 with 767 000 (564 000). Mother & Son was #24 with 537 000 (306 000). An encore of The Assembly was #33 with 388 000 (171 000). Guy Montgomery’s Guy Mont Spelling Bee NZ was #44 with 289 000 (129 000). If You’re Listening was #110 with 147 000 (83 000). ABC Late News was #83 with 196 000 (55 000).

  • 9News was the No. 1 program across Australia People 25 -54, Shoppers18+ and Total People. It was also the No. 1 news bulletin across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane with Total People. The combined national bulletins registered a National Total TV Reach of 2.009 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.271 million (up 20.0% year on year). On 9Now, it secured a BVOD Audience of 153,000 – up a huge 71.9% year-on-year.
  • A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot across Australia and in Sydney and Brisbane with Total People. It had a National Total TV Reach of 1.478 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.023 million – up 1.3% on the same night last year. On 9Now, it registered a BVOD Audience of 115,000 – up by 40.2% year-on-year.
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No.1 afternoon game show with Total People and all key demos across Australia. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.377 million and a Total TV National Audience of 738,000 – up 22.4% on the same night last year. On 9Now its BVOD Audience of 89,000 – was up an impressive 89.4% year-on-year.
  • Budget Battlers registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.377 million and a Total TV National Audience of 554,000 and a BVOD audience of 69,000.
  • Love Island Australia was Australia’s No. 1 BVOD program with Total People, People 25-54 and People 16-39. It was Australia’s No.1 overall program of the night for People 16-39. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 955,000, a Total TV National Audience of 368,000 (up 142.1% year-on-year) and a BVOD audience of 211,000 (up a huge 111.0% year-on-year).
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane with Total People. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 762,000, a Total TV National Audience of 319,000 and a BVOD audience was 51,000 – up 37.8% year-on-year.
  • The 9Network was the No.1 network on Wednesday across the 5 City Metro with People 25-54 and Shoppers 18+.
  • 9Now was the No. 1 CFTA BVOD Platform on Wednesday across Australia with People 16-39.
