Seven News was #2 for the night with a reach audience loss of 50 000 and an average audience loss of 83 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #7 with 1 399 000 (879 000). The 1% Club UK was #5 with 1 497 000 (868 000). The Front Bar was #12 with 1 139 000 (605 000). Unfiltered was #22 with 642 000 (352 000). A repeat of Armed and Dangerous was #36 with 394 000 (123 000). Border Security: International was #156 with 103 000 (55 000).

The Chase UK – 377 000 (196 000)

Sunrise – Early – 495 000 (234 000)

Nine

9News was #1 for the night. A Current Affair was #4 with 1 684 000 (1 137 000). The Block – Wednesday was #3 with 1 983 000 (1 113 000). Clarkson’s Farm was #8 with 1 367 000 (498 000). Freddy and the Eighth aired in Sydney and Brisbane and was #43 with 370 000 (122 000). The Grand Tour aired in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth and was #44 with 351 000 (102 000). 9News Late was #79 with 223 000 (120 000). A repeat of Damian Lewis: Spy Wars was #100 with 165 000 (65 000).

Tipping Point UK – 611 000 (353 000)

10 News+ was #32 for the night. Deal or No Deal was #33 with 444 000 (264 000). Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly Australia was #21 with 662 000 (255 000). Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service was #30 with 463 000 (205 000). FBI: International was #48 with 327 000 (118 000). 10’s Late News was #114 with 145 000 (71 000).

ABC

ABC News was #10 for the night. 730 was #11 with 1 276 000 (774 000). Hard Quiz was #14 with 876 000 (630 000). Shaun Micallef’s Eve of Destruction was #18 with 720 000 (394 000). Would I Lie to You was #31 with 452 000 (249 000). An encore of Austin was #49 with 319 000 (131 000). ABC Late News was #78 with 224 000 (56 000).

  • The Block was Australia’s No. 1 program with People 25-54 and 16-39. It was also a dominant timeslot winner across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth with Total People. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.983 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.113 million – up 14.7% year-on-year. It recorded a BVOD Audience of 189,000 – up 23.5% year-on-year.
  • 9News was Australia’s No. 1 program with GS18+ and Total People. It was also the No.1 news program with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.The combined bulletins achieved a National Total TV Reach of 2.140 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.412 million – up 18.2% year-on-year. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 141,000 was up 46.9% on the same night last year.
  • A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot across Australia with Total People and all key demos. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.684 million and an impressive Total TV National Audience of 1.137 million which was up 16.7% compared to the same night last year. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 116,000 – up 43.2% on the same night last year.
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No. 1 afternoon game show across Australia with Total People and all key demos. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.489 million, a Total TV National Audience of 814,000 (up 22.8% year-on-year) and a BVOD audience of 84,000 – up a massive 75.0% year-on-year.
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice with Total People in Melbourne and Brisbane on Wednesday. It recorded a Total TV National Reach of 798,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 317,000 and a BVOD audience of 46,000 – up 31.4% on the same morning last year.
  • The 9Network was the No.1 network on Wednesday across the 5 City Metro with Total People and all key demographics.
  • 9Now was the No. 1 CFTA BVOD platform on Wednesday across Australia with People 25-54 and People 16-39.
