Seven News was #3 for the night with a reach audience loss of 85 000 and an average audience loss of 67 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #8 with 1 234 000 (888 000). RFDS was #7 with 1 242 000 (759 000). Off the Grid with Colin and Manu was #12 with 927 000 (462 000). House of Wellness was #26 with 490 000 (170 000).

Sunrise – Early – 517 000 (262 000)

The Chase UK – 375 000 (202 000)

Nine

9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #4 with 1 634 000 (1 046 000). The Block was #1 with 2 110 000 (1 218 000). Australian Crime Stories: The Investigators was #5 with 1 412 000 (566 000). The Grand Tour aired in Sydney and Brisbane and was #34 with 403 000 (117 000). Footy Furnace aired in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth and was #38 with 369 000 (142 000).

10 News+ was #43 for the night. Deal or No Deal was #41 with 335 000 (216 000). The season final of Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly was #21 with 566 000 (251 000). The Gilded Age was #29 with 427 000 (131 000). 10’s Late News was #73 with 204 000 (113 000). An encore of 10 News+ was #85 with 186 000 (72 000).

ABC News was #9 for the night. 730 was #10 with 1 125 000 (655 000). Hard Quiz was #14 with 820 000 (580 000). Mother and Son was #18 with 606 000 (318 000). An encore of The Assembly was #35 with 385 000 (149 000).

  • The 9Network claimed Australia’s top 2 programs on Wednesday with Total People across Australia, as 9News and The Block took out the top spots.
  • The Block was the No. 1 entertainment program with Total People and all key demos across Australia. It was also a dominant timeslot winner with Total People across all five metro capitals. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 2.110 million, a Total TV National Audience of 1.218 million – up 9.1% year-on-year and a BVOD Audience of 275,000 – up 46.9% year-on-year.
  • 9News was the No. 1 program with Total People and GS18+ across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It was also the No. 1 news bulletin with People 25-54 across Australia and in all five metro capitals. The combined national bulletins registered a National Total TV Reach of 2.010 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.264 million (up 16.2% year on year). On 9Now, it secured a BVOD Audience of 159,000 – up a huge 72.8% year-on-year.
  • A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot across Australia with Total People and all key demographics. It had a National Total TV Reach of 1.634 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.046 million – up 6.5% on the same night last year. On 9Now, it registered a BVOD Audience of 139,000 – up by 67.5% year-on-year.
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No.1 afternoon game show with Total People across Australia and in all five metro capitals. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.310 million and a Total TV National Audience of 704,000 – up 14.8% on the same night last year. On 9Now its BVOD Audience of 91,000 – was up an impressive 85.7% year-on-year.
  • ACS: The Investigators secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.412 million and a Total TV National Audience of 566,000. On 9Now its BVOD Audience registered 87,000.
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice with Total People in Sydney and Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 746,000, a Total TV National Audience of 307,000 and a BVOD audience was 53,000 – up 43.2% year-on-year.
  • The 9Network was the No.1 network on Wednesday across the 5 City Metro with Total People and all key demographics.
