Seven News was #1 for the night with a reach lead of 63 000 and an average audience lead of 94 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #7 with 1 286 000 (860 000). The Americas was #9 with 1 130 000 (535 000). The Hunting Party was #23 with 624 000 (243 000). The Agenda Setters was #35 with 477 000 (154 000).

Nine

9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #3 with 1 571 000 (1 025 000). A repeat of Travel Guides was #12 with 877 000 (394 000). Gather Round in the Barossa was #14 with 857 000 (197 000). 100% Footy was #28 with 533 000 (146 000). 9News Late was #42 with 411 000 (206 000).

Deal or No Deal was #36 with 466 000 (270 000). The Project was #15 with 814 000 (329 000). The Dog House Australia was #11 with 936 000 (396 000). NCIS was #25 with 615 000 (250 000).

ABC

ABC News was #8 for the night. 730 was #6 with 1 311 000 (767 000). Foreign Correspondent was #18 with 724 000 (485 000). Creative Types with Virginia Trioli was #22 with 656 000 (350 000). Swingers: How To Win an Election was #34 with 481 000 (270 000). A repeat of Finding the Archibald was #50 with 337 000 (114 000).

SBS

A repeat of Great Coastal Railway Journeys was #44 with 382 000 (134 0000). Insight was #31 with 508 000 (166 000).

NINE

  • Gather Round in the Barossa dominated the 7.30pm timeslot with all key demos and Total People in Adelaide. It was also the no.1 program of the night with key demo People 16-39 in Adelaide. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 857,000, a Total TV National Audience of 197,000 – up 43.8% compared to the program last year. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 16,000 was up 100% compared to the program last year. 
  • 9News was the No. 1 program of the night with Total People and No. 1 news bulletin with all key demos across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It was also the No. 1 program of the night with People 25-54 and the news bulletin of choice with People 16-39 in Adelaide. The combined national bulletins secured a National Total TV Reach of 2.096 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.278 million – up 7.2% year-on-year. On 9Now, its BVOD Audience of 118,000 was up 34.1% on the same night last year.
  • A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot with Total People across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.571 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.025 million. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 90,000 – up 9.8% year-on-year.
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No. 1 afternoon game show with Total People and all key demos across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.458 million and a Total TV National Audience of 792,000, up 16.5% when compared to the same day last year. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 67,000 – up a massive 48.9% year-on-year.
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice with Total People in Melbourne and Brisbane. It was also the preferred breakfast program with People 25-54 and People 16-39 in Sydney. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 867,000, a Total TV National Audience of 356,000 (up 14.85 on the same morning last year) and a BVOD audience of 43,000 – up 22.9% year-on-year.
  • The 9Network was the No. 1 network across the 5 City Metro with Total People and all key demos. 
  • 9Now was the No. 1 CFTA BVOD platform on Tuesday with Total People and all key demos.

7NEWS wins Wednesday, 7NEWS and Home and Away on top
