TOTAL TV
Seven News was #1 with 1, 323 000 viewers, up 3%. Seven News (6:30pm) also rose 3% to 1, 306 000. Home and Away was #5 overall but #1 non news with 901 000, up 23%. Home and Away Late (8pm episode) was up 26% to 848 000. Kath and Kim repeats had an uplift with episode 1 up 7% to 417 000, episode 2 up 8% to 355 000 and episode 3 up 8% to 311 000 viewers. The Chase Australia (5pm) rose 3% to 480 000, whilst the 5:30pm portion of the show grew 3% to 720 000. Seven News at 4:30pm was up 3% to 327 000.
Nine News was #3 overall with 1, 048 000, up 4%, whilst Nine News (6:30pm) was also up 4% to 1, 040 000. A Current Affair had an audience of 856 000, a rise of 5%/ RBT saw its audience rise by 5% to 659 000, Paramedics up 12% tp 721 000 and A+E After Dark was up 8% to 398 000. In the afternoon, Hot Seat (5pm) was up 4% to 325 000, with the 5:30pm half hour on 480 000, up 4%. Nine’s Afternoon News rose 3% to 340 000. Tipping Point made the Top 30 with an audience of 399 000, up 7%.
10 News First was up 2% to 363 000. The Project (7pm) had an uplift of 5% to 409 000. Gogglebox had a strong night placing #9 overall for the night and up 29% to an audience of 808 000.
ABC News rose 4% to 876 000, 7:30 was up 6% to 726 000. Foreign Correspondent was up 6% to 512 000 viewers and Q+A was up 7% to 332 000.
The Handmaids Tale was up 412% to 527 000 – a massive result for SBS.

Analysis
Seven News (6pm) was #1 overall at 820 000 viewers with wins in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. Seven News (6:30pm) was #2 at 804 000. Home and Away was at 428 000 viewers for the first two episodes then at 364 000 for the 8pm episode, titled Home and Away Late. Kath and Kim had the following results; episode 1 on 247 000, episode 2 on 212 000, episode 3 on 183 000 and episode 4 on 130 000. The Latest: Seven News had 104 000. Earlier in the afternoon The Chase (5pm) had 290 000 viewers, whilst the 5:30pm half hour had 430 000.
Nine News was #4 at 694 000 with wins in Sydney and Brisbane. Nine News (6:30pm) had 701 000 and placed #3. A Current Affair was second in its slot, behind ABC News at 554 000. RBT had a network audience of 402 000. Paramedics continues to thrive on Thursdays with 397 000, whilst A+E After Dark benefits from its lead in with 225 000 viewers. Nine News Late had 115 000 viewers. Earlier in the day Hot Seat (5pm) had 218 000 viewers, whilst the 5:30pm portion had 345 000.
10 News First started the evening off for 10 with 244 000 at 5pm and then 154 000 at 6pm. The Project at 6:30pm had 181 000, but built to 268 000 for 7pm. Gogglebox was #1 non news at 493 000. The Real Love Boat Australia had 169 000 hop on board, whilst an encore of The Cheap Seats had 92 000 viewers.
ABC News was strong at 558 000. Budget 2022/2023 Opposition Reply was on 285 000. 730 was shown at 8pm funnily enough and had 215 000 viewers. Q+A had 197 000 viewers at 8:30pm and the Boyer Lecture with Noel Pearson was watched by 105 000 viewers.
