2026 Australian Open Day 8 Night Session was Australia’s No. 1 program on Friday by reach, with Alex de Minaur’s straight sets fourth round victory, achieved a National Total TV Reach of 2.686 million viewers, a National Total TV Average Audience of 1.158 million, up 47% year-on-year, and a BVOD audience of 217,000 – up a massive 90% year-on-year.

2026 Australian Open Day 8 Day Session, which featured world no.1’s Aryna Sabalenka and Carlos Alcaraz, achieved a National Total TV Reach of 3.167 million, a National Total TV Average Audience of 670,000, up 14% year-on-year, and a BVOD audience of 148,000 – up 118% year-on-year.

2026 Australian Open Day 8 Night Session 2, achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.857 million, a National Total TV Average Audience of 606,000 and a BVOD audience of 130,000 – up 31% year-on-year.

The 9Network dominated Sunday viewing across Australia with all key demos and Total People.
