Reaches 1.3 Million. Up 7% On 2025 Launch. Record BVOD Audience.

MasterChef Australia returned with auditions and 40 of the country’s best home cooks are ready. Last night, 20 cooks had 90 minutes to make their dream dish in order to win one of 10 aprons on offer.

The MasterChef Australia Launch reached 1.3 million total national viewers, it’s average total national audience of 722,000 was up 7% vs. its 2025 launch, and it served up its biggest ever streaming audience for a launch episode.

MasterChef Australia - Launch:

• Reached 1.3 million total national viewers.
• Average total national audience up 7% vs. its 2025 launch.
• Biggest ever BVOD audience for a MasterChef launch.
• 97,000 BVOD viewers, up 64% vs. 2025 launch.
• #2 in its timeslot in 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s.

• Yesterday, 10 reached 3.56 million Australians across broadcast and streaming.
• Last night, 10’s national total TV audience was up 76% vs. the same night in 2025. 10 Streaming was up 163%.

Week 16:
• 10 delivers biggest ever start to a year, in streaming. Streaming audiences from Weeks 1 to 16 increased 30% year-on-year, monthly active users are up 18% to 2.19 million.
