The AFC Women’s Asian Cup Australia 2026™ has concluded in spectacular fashion on Saturday, with Japan crowned continental champions following a 1-0 victory over Australia in front of a record crowd of 74,397 fans at Stadium Australia in Sydney.
The final match was the most-watched program on TV on Saturday night, reaching 3.2 million total national viewers (incl. pre and post match). It was 10’s biggest event since the Melbourne Cup in 2023.
