Seven News was #1 for the night with a reach audience lead of 84 000 and an average audience lead of 59 000 over 9News. A repeat of Border Patrol was #13 with 989 000 (542 000). Motorway Patrol was #23 with 599 000 (339 000). Highway Cops was #28 with 531 000 (318 000). A repeat of 24 Hours in Police Custody was #29 with 522 000 (172 000). Police Code Zero: Officer Under Attack was #33 with 457 000 (163 000). Chicago Fire was #79 with 185 000 (77 000).

Sunrise – Early – 561 000 (287 000)

Nine

9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #4 with 1 549 000 (1 058 000). A repeat of Travel Guides was #3 with 1 651 000 (713 000). The movie, The Dish was #5 with 1 516 000 (454 000). The Equalizer was #36 with 434 000 (126 000). A repeat of Transplant was #102 with 144 000 (49 000).

ABC News was #8 for the night. 730 was #7 with 1 258 000 (780 000). A repeat of Louis Theroux: The Settlers was #11 with 1 009 000 (435 000). A repeat of Paul Kelly: Stories of Me was #15 with 795 000 (272 000). ABC Late News was #46 with 347 000 (85 000).

  • 9News was the No. 1 program across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane with Total People. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.910 million, a Total TV National Audience of 1.214 million (up 4.8% year-on-year) and a BVOD Audience of 160,000 (up 72.0% year-on-year).
  • A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot across Australia with Total People. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.549 million, a Total TV National Audience of 1.058 million (up 9.9% year-on-year) and a BVOD Audience of 122,000 (up 69.4% year-on-year).
  • Love Island Australia was Australia’s No. 1 program of the night for People 16-39. It was also the No. 1 BVOD program of the night with Total People across Australia. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 620,000, a Total TV National Audience of 441,000 (up 56.9% year-on-year) and a BVOD audience of 386,000 (up an incredible 81.2% year-on-year).
  • Tipping Point was Australia’s No. 1 afternoon game show with Total People and all key demographics. It registered a Total TV Reach Audience of 1.297 million, a Total TV National Audience of 670,000 (up 3.4% year-on-year) and a BVOD Audience of 85,000 (up 88.9% year-on-year).
  • Travel Guides encore secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.651 million, a Total TV National Audience of 713,000 and a BVOD audience of 82,000.
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane with Total People. It registered a Total TV Reach Audience of 761,000, a Total TV National Audience (up 5.4% year-on-year) of 313,000 and a BVOD Audience of 50,000 (up 47.1% year-on-year).
  • The 9Network was the No. 1 network on Monday across the 5 City Metro with Total People, People 25-54 and Shoppers 18+.
  • 9Now was the No.1 CFTA BVOD Platform on Monday across Australia with Total People and all key demographics.

The Big Brother Grand Finale was Big Brother’s biggest Grand Finale since 2021! It was up 146% vs. 2023 and was 10’s biggest ever live streamed episode.

Big Brother returned home as 10’s biggest reality show since 2023, and biggest ever streamed show with over 730 million minutes viewed – up over 200% vs. 2023. The Big Brother Live 24/7 channel was 10’s biggest ever exclusive streaming channel.

Big Brother attracted a phenomenal 161 million total social media views across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok (excluding the live TikTok channel).

This season reached 6.6 million total national viewers and averaged 849,000 total national viewers – up 117% vs. 2023. During its run, it was #1 in its timeslot in 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s.
