Seven News was #1 with wins in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. Seven News at 6:30 was #2 with wins in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. Better Homes and Gardens returned with a new season and Seven was rewarded with it being the #1 non news program in primetime, sitting at #7 overall with 414 000 viewers. Seven then went with an encore of Australian Idol for 223 000 viewers.
Nine
Nine News was #4 with a win in Sydney. Nine News 6:30 was #3 with wins in Sydney and Brisbane. A Current Affair was #6 overall, but #2 in its slot with 496 000, sitting just 7000 viewers behind ABC News. For the Love of Pets made its debut on Nine with 262 000. Adelaide viewers particularly liked the show with Pets just 1000 viewers behind Better Homes. The premiere of the movie, The Dry had 224 000 hooked into the mystery. Nine aired the late movie, Six Degrees of Separation to 47 000 viewers.

The Project 6:30pm had 148 000 viewers. The Project 7pm was on 185 000. The Graham Norton Show was #15 with 239 000 viewers. 10 ran an encore of Taskmaster Australia at 8:30pm with 149 000 watching. A repeat of The Graham Norton Show followed with 101 000. A repeat of Just for Laughs Australia had 77 000 at 10:30pm and then a repeat of Just for Laughs Uncut was watched by 58 000.
ABC
ABC News was #5 but #1 in its slot. The season final of Monty Don’s Adriatic Gardens was #9 with 307 000. A repeat of Van De Valk aired at 8:30 and was #12 for the night with 260 000 viewers. ABC aired the first season of The Larkins again with 82 000 viewers. Oddly ABC followed the show with a 15 minute news with 51 000 viewers and then showed a second episode of The Larkins to 49 000.
