Seven News was #1 with wins in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. Seven News at 6:30 was #2 with wins in Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. Better Homes and Gardens Summer was #8 with 319 000 viewers. Seven finished its LOTR trilogy with the movie, Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King watched by 113 000.
Nine
Nine News was #3 and had a win in Sydney. Nine News 6:30 was #4 with wins in both Sydney and Melbourne. Nine aired the 2023 Arena Showdown – Kyrgios v Djokovic to just 289 000. The movie, Jack Reacher had 201 000. With the movie running late night and nearly doubling LOTR, Nine’s late night share gave the primary channel a 2.5 point win against Seven.

The Project 6:30pm was #26 with 148 000. The Project 7pm was #19 with 193 000. 10 ran an encore of the latest episode of The Graham Norton Show, which placed #28 with 144 000. A repeat episode of The Graham Norton Show had 128 000 watching. A repeat of Just for Laughs Australia had an audience of 64 000.
ABC
ABC News was #5 overall, but #1 in its slot. The special, A Grand Royal Design proved popular at #6 overall, but #1 non news in primetime for the night with 389 000. A repeat of Endeavour was #11 and watched by 274 000 viewers. A repeat of The Accident was on 71 000.
