Seven News – Sunday was #1 with 799 000 (+1%). Dog Patrol was at #5 with 469 000 (+1%). The movie, Love Actually was #8 with 432 000 (+7%). Alinta Energy Christmas Pageant 2022 was #11 with 207 000 (+1%). An encore of Woolworths Carols in the Domain was #12 with 198 000 (+0%). A repeat of Border Security: International was #14 with 166 000 (+2%). A repeat of 2022 Mayor’s Christmas Carols was #22 with 137 000 (+0%). Analysis
Seven News – Sunday was #1 with a clean sweep in all metro markets. Seven’s Cricket: Big Bash League – Brisbane Heat v Sydney Sixers was #5 with 327 000 fans. Seven’s Cricket: Big Bash League – Brisbane Heat v Sydney Sixers Post Game was #9 with 252 000. Seven’s Cricket: Big Bash League – Melbourne Renegades v Perth was #10 with 217 000 viewers.
Nine News Sunday was #2 with 630 000 with no wins in any metro market. 60 Minutes Summer was #4 with 458 000. RBT was #8 with 256 000. The movie, Deep Impact was #18 with 173 000. The First 48 aired late night to 81 000 viewers.
10 had all new programming but unfortunately it did not boost its overall share. A special episode of The Dog House UK had 130 000 viewers. The annual NYE special episode of The Graham Norton Show was #14 with 197 000. The premiere movie, The Gentleman, had 93 000 viewers.
The movie, Strictly Ballroom did well for ABC, placing #7 with 303 000 viewers. The new series premiere of Wreck (which first airs on ABC TV Plus) had 89 000. ABC aired a repeat of the Michael Hutchence Mystify special to 67 000 viewers.
