There seems to be an error this morning with the Total TV report with a result of zero being recorded in the BVOD column for all shows. That means the uplift for shows is either zero or minimal, depending on regional figures. Numbers below are results including regional, after 7 days.
Seven News – Sunday was #1 with 799 000 (+1%). Dog Patrol was at #5 with 469 000 (+1%). The movie, Love Actually was #8 with 432 000 (+7%). Alinta Energy Christmas Pageant 2022 was #11 with 207 000 (+1%). An encore of Woolworths Carols in the Domain was #12 with 198 000 (+0%). A repeat of Border Security: International was #14 with 166 000 (+2%). A repeat of 2022 Mayor’s Christmas Carols was #22 with 137 000 (+0%). A repeat of Border Security: Australia’s Front Line was #23 with 130 000 (+4%). The movie, National Lampoon’s Vacation was #25 with 121 000 (+1%). A repeat of Better Homes and Gardens was #29 with 110 000 (+0%). A third repeat of Border Security: Australia’s Front Line was #30 with 109 000 (+4%).

The movie, Blizzard was #15 with 163 000 (+2%). 2022 Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols was #19 with 155 000 (+1%). An encore of Carols by Candelight was #20 with 145 000 (+0%). 10 News First Sunday was #10 with 233 000 (+0%). NCIS: New Orleans was #26 with 117 000 (+1%).
ABC News on Christmas Day was #2 with 630 000 (+0%). HM The King’s Christmas Message 2022 was #3 with 613 000 (+4%). The Royal Variety Performance 2022 was #6 with 459 000 (+8%). Miss Fisher and the Crypt of Tears was #16 with 162 000 (+5%). ABC News on Christmas Day AM was #17 with 160 000 (+0%). Royal Carols: Together at Christmas was #18 with 159 000 (+17%). HM The King’s Christmas Message 2022 – PM was #27 with 116 000 (+0%).
Dean Martin: King of Cool was #13 for SBS with 178 000 (+9%). SBS World News was #21 with 138 000 (+1%). SBS World News 7pm was #24 with 126 000 (+2%).

The movie, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation was #2 with 168 000 for Nine (+1%). The movie, Love Actually had 135 000 (+5%) for Seven.

Analysis
Seven News – Sunday was #1 with a clean sweep in all metro markets. Seven’s Cricket: Big Bash League – Brisbane Heat v Sydney Sixers was #5 with 327 000 fans. Seven’s Cricket: Big Bash League – Brisbane Heat v Sydney Sixers Post Game was #9 with 252 000. Seven’s Cricket: Big Bash League – Melbourne Renegades v Perth was #10 with 217 000 viewers.
Nine News Sunday was #2 with 630 000 with no wins in any metro market. 60 Minutes Summer was #4 with 458 000. RBT was #8 with 256 000. The movie, Deep Impact was #18 with 173 000. The First 48 aired late night to 81 000 viewers.
10 had all new programming but unfortunately it did not boost its overall share. A special episode of The Dog House UK had 130 000 viewers. The annual NYE special episode of The Graham Norton Show was #14 with 197 000. The premiere movie, The Gentleman, had 93 000 viewers.
The movie, Strictly Ballroom did well for ABC, placing #7 with 303 000 viewers. The new series premiere of Wreck (which first airs on ABC TV Plus) had 89 000. ABC aired a repeat of the Michael Hutchence Mystify special to 67 000 viewers.
