Racing Dreams on Sky News Australia returns for new season

Racing Dreams on Sky News Australia – This weekend, we gear up for the return of the highly anticipated Spring Racing Carnival with Sky News Hosts Tim Gilbert and Julie Snook returning to the racing track for a new season of Racing Dreams.

Starting Saturday 26 August at 9am AEST, the hosting duo will kick off Racing Dreams – The Everest, giving viewers an insider’s look at the biggest moments in racing, featuring interviews with the jockeys, owners, trainers and punters alike.

With a new look for the Spring season, the series will largely focus on the lead up to, and running of, The Everest featuring a prize pool of $20 million and set to attract contenders from around the world.

This season will offer comprehensive thoroughbred racing news coverage, a behind-the-scenes look at thoroughbred horse ownership and share inspiring stories from Australia’s racing community.

For the first time, the show will also be heading to New Zealand to learn more about the thoroughbred industry, visiting North Island stud farms Waikato, Rich Hill, Elsdon Park and Cambridge.

Co-host Julie Snook said:

“Timmy and I are so proud of this program. Each and every week we’ll cover the day’s racing, and we’ll bring you the latest in The Everest news and slot holder movements. It’s such a fun show to be a part of, you’re guaranteed a laugh each and every week, and you’ll hear from some of the biggest names in the game.”

Co-host Tim Gilbert added:

“There is no other sport that has the richness of storytelling. This makes what Julie and I do on Racing Dreams easy, as it is so much fun bringing it all to life! Horses are majestic animals and athletes, they are always our focus and you can’t be a part of this industry if you don’t love the horse. You know what? Racing dreams do come true.”

Saturday’s premiere episode is set to feature interviews with newly appointed Australian Turf Club CEO, Matt Galanos, Bloodstock Manager at Arrowfield Stud, Jon Freyer, Managing Director at Godolphin Australia, Vin Cox, and Analyst Brad Gray will be back again with his weekend tips.
