Seven swept all seven nights in Total People, although Sunday and Tuesday were close contests. The network’s reliable 7NEWS performance, The Voice on Sunday and Monday, and Home and Away through the week supplied the nightly spine before the AFL finals turned Friday and Saturday into decisive wins. Friday Night Football: Finals and Saturday Night Football: Finals were the two biggest programs of the week, while Seven also won the news battle on several nights.
Nine remained competitive early, led by The Block on Sunday and Tuesday, but could not convert those entertainment wins into a nightly Total People lead. ABC’s best contribution came from its established factual and news programming, while 10’s strongest moments were built around its regular entertainment schedule rather than a sustained prime-time challenge.

Seven’s People 25 to 54 win was close, with a 1.2-point edge over Nine. Nine took Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday as The Block continued to deliver in the demo, but Seven won Monday and then took control from Thursday to Saturday. The AFL finals finish was decisive: Seven reached 51.5% on Friday and 47.2% on Saturday, following a 39.9% Thursday.
10’s 20.2% shows that the commercial audience was split more tightly than Total People through parts of the week. However, Seven’s late-week sports run supplied enough scale to turn a close contest into the final week-to-date result.
People 16 to 39 – Commercial Share

The closest result of the week came in People 16 to 39, where Seven finished just 0.1 points ahead of Nine. Nine won the first four nights, with The Block particularly strong on Sunday and the network retaining an edge through Wednesday. Seven’s turnaround began on Thursday and accelerated across Friday and Saturday, when the AFL finals delivered 52.0% and 47.3% respectively.
That late momentum outweighed Nine’s early advantage. The result underlines how heavily the younger commercial demo was shaped by the finals schedule, while 10 remained most competitive on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Grocery Shoppers 18+ – Commercial Share

Seven completed its most emphatic clean sweep in Grocery Shoppers 18+, winning every night and finishing seven points ahead of Nine. Its advantage was already established across Sunday to Thursday through 7NEWS, The Voice, Home and Away and 7NEWS Spotlight, then widened sharply with AFL finals on Friday and Saturday.
Nine stayed within range on Sunday and Tuesday, but Seven’s broad prime-time mix was more consistent across the full week. The closing two nights left no doubt about the final order, with Seven posting 51.5% on Friday and 47.5% on Saturday.
