Out of Control: Victoria’s Crime Crisis – Premieres Sunday at 7.30pm AEDT – One year out from the Victorian State Election, Sky News Australia will premiere a special investigation, Out of Control: Victoria’s Crime Crisis, presented by Sky News National Affairs Correspondent Jonathan Lea this Sunday at 7.30pm AEDT.

Crime in Victoria has been steadily on the rise.
In this special investigation Jonathan Lea speaks to victims who are demanding action. The message is clear: the current approach is failing, and the state cannot afford to wait any longer. They want stronger laws, real consequences and leadership that prioritises safety over excuses.
Jonathan also sits down with Victoria’s recently appointed Opposition Leader Jess Wilson and confronts former premier of Victoria Daniel Andrews.

Jonathan Lea said:
“Look around Victoria’s inner suburbs and you’ll find more security cameras than solar panels. What’s terrifying is the brazen nature of the attacks and the velocity of the violence.
“Somewhere along the way politicians and the courts have created a culture of impunity so weak that kids are carrying weapons that belong in a Game of Thrones episode. Parents and homeowners are right to ask, ‘what the hell is happening and why does it always take an election to see action?”.
