News24 Wine Club launches with Laithwaites Wine to spotlight Australian-made wines – News24 has today announced the launch of its new wine club. The new club is a commercial partnership with Laithwaites Wine, committed to proudly supporting Australian wine.
The launch follows the News24 national brand campaign after its major rebrand. News24 Wine and Travel Editor Des Houghton will share his insights and recommendations with members every week.
Wines from Australia’s premier regions
The club will feature a range of membership and subscription options for outstanding vintages from premier Australian wine regions, including:
- The Barossa Valley, Clare Valley and Eden Valley in South Australia
- The Yarra Valley in Victoria
- Margaret River in Western Australia
- Tasmania
Des Houghton joins as wine editor

Premium Aussie Wines launch offer
An introductory launch offer is available throughout October. It gives members access to a ‘Premium Aussie Wines’ pack of 14 bottles for $135 (RRP $603).
The pack includes a 96-point Magnum of Cape Barren old vine McLaren Vale Shiraz 2022. In addition, it includes two bottles of premium Jim Barry Single Vineyard Eastern Ranges Clare Valley Shiraz 2023.
According to the club, every bottle tells a story of people, places and moments shared. It aims to champion great Australian wines, from well-established, celebrated names to new and exciting boutique producers.
