2027 Channel 7 Upfront: Lucy & Nikki join Hit Network early Drive – Lucy Jackson and Nikki Westcott will bring their candid comedy and friendship-driven storytelling to the Hit Network’s national weekday early Drive slot in 2027.
Lucy & Nikki will air from 3pm to 4pm from Monday, 18 January, before the newly announced Lu & Jarch program takes over from 4pm to 6pm. Listeners will be able to hear both shows across the Hit Network and through the free LiSTNR app.
For listeners, the appointment completes a two-stage national Drive lineup for the Hit Network. It also extends Seven Media Group’s 2027 audio strategy by pairing two programs with different audiences across the afternoon commute.
A new chapter for Lucy & Nikki
Jackson and Westcott joined the Hit Network in 2024 with a national Saturday night show. Their radio presence soon expanded to Friday nights and Saturday mornings, while the pair also became regular guest hosts of national Drive.
The permanent weekday slot now turns that progression into a daily national program. The duo will continue to draw on popular culture, friendship, motherhood and the everyday stories that have shaped their audio brand.
Jackson said the pair were ready to join the refreshed lineup.
We’re super excited for 2027 to be able to join the Drive lineup, along with our good mates Lu and Jarch. We feel so lucky that we get to call this work and can’t wait to sink our teeth into something new!
Lucy Jackson
Westcott said the daily program was a natural extension of the community they had already built.
We love what we do and the community we’ve built, and we’re so excited about where we can take the brand from here. Expanding our radio show into a daily slot on Drive, while exploring video episodes for our podcast feels like a really natural step for us.

Happy Hour audience moves into weekday Drive
The pair brought their established Happy Hour with Lucy & Nikki podcast to LiSTNR, where it regularly places inside the top 10 of the Triton Podcast Ranker. The release cites more than 630,000 monthly podcast listeners in September 2026, alongside 17 million downloads and sold-out international live shows.
That audience was built around the hosts’ willingness to share the highs, lows and absurd moments of their lives. The new Drive program gives that relationship a national weekday platform while keeping the podcast community connected through LiSTNR.
Hit Network Head of Content Amanda Lee said the announcement reflected the duo’s development across the network.
Watching Lucy and Nikki evolve across the network over the past three years has been incredible. They have a strong work ethic and a dedication to their broadcasting craft, combined with a sharp commercial instinct and an impactful approach to integrating brands into their content.
Amanda Lee, Head of Hit Network Content
Lee said the network had prioritised their growth and believed their energy would create new opportunities for audiences and commercial partners. The company also expects the combination of Lucy & Nikki and Lu & Jarch to offer complementary tones and broader reach across Drive.
Hit Network refreshes its 2027 lineup
The early Drive appointment sits alongside established local breakfast programs, including Melbourne’s Fifi, Fev & Nick, Brisbane’s Stav, Abby & Matt and Perth’s Pete & Kymba. The network is also building around Bel & Bernie on SAFM and Nath & Emma with Michael Clarke on 2DayFM.
Beyond radio and podcasting, Jackson and Westcott are the founders of fashion label Jagger & Stone and wine label Jackson West. Their working partnership began through the We The Wild Ones social-media brand before expanding across fashion, audio, live events and other entertainment projects.
Their audience will also gather in Melbourne for UNBOXED on Saturday, 19 December. The event is being billed as the duo’s biggest live show to date and a celebration of the community that has followed their work.
Lucy & Nikki begins Monday, 18 January 2027 and airs weekdays from 3pm to 4pm on the Hit Network and LiSTNR.
