2027 Channel 7 Upfront: Lu and Jarch take over Hit Network Drive – Luisa Dal Din and Jack Archdale, known as Lu & Jarch, will host the Hit Network’s national weekday Drive programme from 4pm to 6pm beginning Monday 18 January 2027. Their We Mean Well podcast will also move to LiSTNR.

Although announced as part of Seven Media Group’s 2027 upfront, this is a radio and podcast development, not a new Channel 7 television programme. For listeners, the change is straightforward: the pair move from Triple M Early Drive into a larger national afternoon slot while keeping their podcast presence in the group’s audio portfolio.

Lu & Jarch made their radio debut on Triple M Early Drive in June 2025. They have built an audience around candid discussion and comedy on We Mean Well. Seven Media Group says they have more than 900,000 combined social followers and their TikTok content has accumulated more than 31 million likes.

From Triple M to national Drive

The pair will be heard across the Hit Network and on the free LiSTNR app. Seven says their mix of wit, unfiltered discussion and everyday-life stories will shape the weekday 4pm-6pm show. The move gives the Hit brand a new national voice at a time when Seven Media Group is joining its radio, television and streaming advertising strategies more closely.

Matthew O’Reilly, Seven Media Group’s Head of Broadcast Content, said the show builds on both the podcast audience and the pair’s early radio work.

Bringing Lu & Jarch to Drive is a fantastic opportunity to bring fresh energy to the Hit brand across Australia. They have an incredible ability to connect with audiences, and what they’ve achieved in such a short time is remarkable, from building the hugely successful We Mean Well podcast to making an instant impact on Triple M.

Dal Din described the move as a new chapter in the partnership.

It’s been an incredible journey with Jarch so far, and joining Hit feels like the perfect next chapter. We’re so excited to launch Lu & Jarch on Hit and to be part of our listeners’ afternoons from 4pm.

Archdale said the two networks had already been part of much of his career and that the pair were ready to make the afternoon slot their own.

Hit and Triple M have been home for a big chunk of my career, so getting the chance to take the next step with Hit is really special. Lu and I have built something we’re really proud of, and we’re ready to have a crack at 4-6pm and make it our own.

Lu & Jarch begins on Monday 18 January 2027, weekdays from 4pm to 6pm, on the Hit Network and LiSTNR. For more TV Central media news, head here, and see the public Hit Network website for listening information.
