Return to Paradise on ABC and ABC iview S1E3 – Things are looking up for Mackenzie – the people of Dolphin Cove are starting to thaw towards her, and Philomena has offered her a permanent job… even if Mack isn’t sure she wants to take it.
Mackenzie’s even co-parenting her dog child Frankie with ex-Glenn. And she’s finally getting on with Colin… sort of.
Beauty salon owner Bianca Bailey (Airlie Dodds) gives her clients hair to die for… and someone’s decided to return the favour, killing her in her office in her salon La Belle Dauphine.
Everything points to strangulation, but the method remains a mystery. Bianca was very much alive when she waved her employees Tahnee, Skye and Jade off to lunch, but when they returned an hour later, her body was sprawled on the office floor.
Suspicion initially falls on Bianca’s dodgy landlord Troy (Jason Chong), who visited La Belle Dauphine while the girls were out, but clever Mackenzie knows all is not as it seems.
Motives abound, but no opportunity… great hair can hide a thousand flaws, and in this case could the truth be hiding in plain sight?
Felix is uncomfortable when Reggie takes something from the crime scene, and grapples with a crime of the past. Can the grown-up Felix make up for his youthful transgression? And Mackenzie has some making up to do of her own with Glenn. Can she own up to her past and make things right?
