It’s been an Intimacy Week for the ages.
We’ve seen chocolate on Paul’s nipples, Tony paint Morena like one of his French girls and heard Jamie share a very unusual story about the zoo.

But let’s be real, the most shocking moment came courtesy of Ryan’s outrageously inappropriate comments about wife Jacqui at the groom’s workshop.
Unsurprisingly, this is the talk of the town ahead of the Dinner Party and the group are absolutely dying to call him out.

This comes at a inconvenient time for Jacqui and Ryan, who are miraculously feeling “strong and united” after their turbulent week – but Jacqui doesn’t yet know what he said.
Meanwhile, after escaping Morena’s affirmations book for the night, Tony has returned from Wollongong to try and make peace with Morena. It’s not going well.
“He didn’t want to hang out with me and I don’t know why,” she tells the camera. “What’s there not to love about me?”
The couples going well arrive to the Cocktail Party first and after a disgusting love fest, Paul shares some gossip.
He heard Morena “screaming her guts out in the hallway” last week and wants to get to the bottom on her and Tony’s issues.

Soon, Jacqui and Ryan enter the room as a “team”, completely unaware that everyone else was just talking about what Ryan said.
But Jamie, bless her soul, swiftly calls Jacqui over to get to the bottom of things. We can always count on Jamie!
Jacqui is grilled about whether she and Ryan are sleeping together, but she says they aren’t.
Thankfully, dinner is served and Ryan’s barely had time to pour his wine before attention turns to him.
Firstly, he explains his gold jacket.
Secondly, he shares the tale of Jacqui’s ultimate fantasy night, leaving in the lingerie shopping and photoshoot details but leaving out all the… fighting.

As he and Jacqui share the supposed positives of their “turbulence”, Billy goes for the jugular.
“What was one of the issues? Was it Ryan saying that you had crazy eyes?”
OH MY.
Jacqui quickly agrees that she does in fact have crazy eyes and she thinks “it’s fun”. She’s got Ryan’s back completely and the group cannot believe it.
But of course… that’s not all he said.
Dave repeats Ryan’s most vulgar comment, which goes against what Jacqui told the women about their level of intimacy.
As the men argue, Jacqui just takes it all in.

She tells Ryan he shouldn’t talk like that behind her back, but things take a real turn when Jamie says they should be more careful with their comments about each other.
“I was triggered when he told me I was not the most beautiful woman in the world!” she yells.
Wait, what?
“I think the ranking task was like, my core value,” she explains further.
OHHHH. We are never, ever letting this Photo Ranking Challenge go, are we?
Ryan feels like she’s broken their pact to move on from everything, but especially that damn ranking.
After a very strange sidestep about Ryan ranking his sister, Jacqui does exactly the opposite of what Jamie advised and declares them “not compatible”.
She says she’s giving up and dramatically storms away from the table.
”I’m never going to settle for less, never ever,” she yells at Awhina and Rhi, who have followed her out for support.
“That was a great conversation,” Rhi reacts.
When she returns to the table, Jeff wonders why she made a pact to stop bringing up the past if she… continues to bring up the past?
Her response to “leave it where it is and move on”.
The room is in desperate need of a palette cleanser, so we bring in Carina and Paul and Rhi and Jeff to gush over how well they’re going.
But suddenly, Ryan’s name is being yelled again.
This time, by an enraged Morena smacking the table.
She starts to berate him about his treatment of women and everything she says makes sense, except it’s about 15 minutes too late.
Paul sees this as an opening to ask Morena about something he heard earlier in the week.
He asks her to tell them about her relationship, prompting the most sassy ponytail flick I have ever witnessed.
“I just heard you screaming in the hallway, I just want to know what’s going on,” he says.
“You’re delusional!” she yells at him.
Things unravel further as Morena gets out her best pointing finger and demands Paul looks at her in the eyes.
“Come a little bit closer… I’m not done with YOU, little boy,” she yells at him.
Woah.
The table let Tony say his piece, and he explains that he’s scared to talk as she will talk over him.
“No, NO,” she replies.
Watching on, the experts are shocked by her communication style and finger pointing, which is pushing Tony – and now the entire table – away.
She’s unresponsive to the group’s advice and ends the conversation feeling like she was ganged up on by them all defending Tony, a.k.a “the Godfather”.

As one bride’s daring number has everyone doing a double take.
Last on the chopping block is Awhina and Adrian, and Awhina’s still struggling to see how their lifestyles align outside of the experiment.
Adrian claims this is just a defense mechanism and they argue (again) about his comments about her being a mum.
Paul, whose tea spilling has been expert-level tonight, reveals Adrian told him he’d move to Perth and be a stepdad to Awhina’s kid if things worked out between them.
Awwwwwww!
“No, I didn’t say that,” Adrian quickly replies.
Oh. I take that back.
He shuts down the conversation by attempting to shift focus to Rhi and Jeff. Then, as the night goes on, Awhina retreats into her thoughts and Adrian moves down the table and sits next to… Sierah. Who knew they even spoke?
Suddenly, the music is haunting. The body language is intense.
“I hung out with Adrian most of the day,” Sierah says.
They laugh together and Awhina watches on.
Then camera pans down and…
WHAT.
THE.
ACTUAL.
HELL.
Is that FOOTSIES?
THIS EXPERIMENT JUST TOOK A SHOCKING TURN.

It’s dark, it’s hard to tell… but it definitely isn’t something you’d expect to see with a groom and someone who isn’t his wife.
