It’s the morning after our first Commitment Ceremony and Rhi and Jeff are still stunned that Tim showed up after failing to even try to get to know Katie.

“Sometimes sparks happen later. Look at you and I for an example. The day I walked down the aisle I thought that we were completely in the friendzone, and now we’re slightly out of the friendzone,” Rhi says.
Wow, huge call!
There is an even more pressing drama unfolding in Morena and Tony‘s room.
Morena is absolutely fuming over Paul calling her ‘signora’ as he bid her goodnight.
“That is something you call someone who’s 90, she’s got a bun in her hair, she’s got a couple of warts and hair on her chin,” she complains.
Tony… well, Tony just listens. Sort of.
Alright, it’s time to get sexy.
Alessandra invites all the brides to a workshop – but Ashleigh is not going to be able to make it.
She’s woken to find Jake furiously packing his bags to quit the experiment.

He says he cannot trust Ash anymore so he’s out, which she immediately clocks as a “cop out”.
“He doesn’t want to face it, he doesn’t want to face the repercussions of his actions, what the group would have to say,” she says.
And with a simple, mumbly “I’m gonna go then”, he’s out, which sadly means Ash is too and will miss out on whatever sexy wisdom Alessandra has in store.
The sexologist asks everyone else where they’re at… sexually… in their relationships, and it ranges from Awhina’s “we were intimate just before I came” to Sierah’s “I don’t know if we’re just mates now”.
Then there is Morena, who is on a whole other level. And not in a fun way.
”Tony, he sleeps on the couch and he’s asleep by five. I just look at the stars and I think ‘someone talk to me’… he doesn’t touch me,” she says.
To spice things up, Alessandra gives the women a task: organise their ‘ultimate fantasy night’, with whatever gets them hot under the collar and/or stops their partners from evening naps on the couch.
While Jamie and Carina buy sexy lingerie, Awhina and Sierah browse ropes, leashes and other items sure to make Billy blush.
Speaking of blushing, Tony is worried about the possibility that this year’s Intimacy Week will involve genital cupping.
But as Morena explains that he will need to take part in her ultimate fantasy instead – whether that includes wearing nothing but a tiny leaf of not – his face looks very much like a man who’d rather cup quite literally anything instead.
In the other rooms, various things are happening that would have Tony clutching his pearls.
Carina is dripping chocolate on Paul’s nipples and licking it off, Jamie surprises Dave with not much underneath her blazer and Awhina and Adrian play a board game that requires spanking.
Finally, drumroll, please! Morena’s surprise for Tony is ready!
“Tony, I have a leaf for you!” she yells.
I’m not sure whether Tony or I are more thankful that is not actually the task. Instead, Morena wants him to paint her like one of his French girls.
After guzzling his wine like a pro and accidentally drinking his paintbrush water, Tony finally settles in to painting.
Both of them end up happy with the task, despite…
Tony explains that he painted her with “sad eyes”, because he let her down.
“I’m here to make you smile,” he says.
In Rhi and Jeff’s apartment, her ultimate fantasy night plans are more low-key; a candlelit dinner date and a recreation of their wedding dance.
Sierah didn’t walkout of the adult toy store with a whip (we think), but she did grab some massage oil.
”There are two rules. The first one is it’s all about me and the second one is you can’t wear clothes,” she warns him.
He’s petrified.
“Your eyes have got a twinkle in them and it’s worrying,” he reacts.
She hopes that he’ll take the task seriously as she’s desperate for their relationship to get more affectionate, scared that it is stay stagnant in the friendzone otherwise.
Billy enters the room to find a near-naked Sierah draped over a chair, ready for her massage.
The problem is that Billy is not a good masseur. At all.
“Can you do it nice?” she asks.
No, no he cannot.
Jacqui’s ultimate fantasy is, to the surprise of no one, to be showered with compliments.
To make this happen, she’s organised a private lingerie shopping experience with Ryan, where she will try on sexy bras and he will make her feel like “the most beautiful girl on the planet”.

To achieve this, Ryan rubs his hands together and says “mmmmhm”, “ooooooh” and “s–t” a lot.
“I think he needs to increase his vocabulary,” Jacqui reacts.
Back in their apartment, Jacqui suggests a sexy photo shoot but it’s derailed when she says this was all a chance for him to make her feel like the most attractive woman in the room.
“You can find things to compliment me on,” she suggests. “You can say, ‘You’ve got very nice hair.'”
He agrees that she has nice hair and also says it’s very attractive that she runs and values health”.
“That was s–t,” Jacqui reacts.
His words are not doing enough to let her forget that he ranked her third in the Photo Ranking, and he’s not about to back down from that decision either.
“How hard is it to just be like, ‘hey, I made a mistake, you’re f–king gorgeous’,” she tells him.
“Because that would be a lie,” he replies.
OH MY. This is not the kind of spice Intimacy Week is supposed to bring!
Tomorrow night, it’s the grooms turn to meet with Alessandra as they debrief – and by the looks of it, Jacqui and Ryan’s week is about to go from bad to worse.
Married At First Sight airs Sunday at 7pm and Monday to Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
