The 9Network’s key performance highlights are as follows:

  • As Married At First Sight continues to dominate Australian viewing, the 9Network once again dominated the FTA landscape and was No. 1 in Week 10 with People 25-54,16-39, GS18+ and Total People recording the following Broadcast TV primetime shares across the 5 City Metro: 
    • People 25-54: 47.90%   
    • People 16-39: 52.91%    
    • Grocery Shopper 18+: 44.07%     
    • Total People: 44.17%   
  • 9Now was also No. 1 in Week 9 with People 25-54,16-39, GS18+ and Total People, recording the following CFTA shares across Australia (measured across the entire day):
    • People 25-54: 55.01%   
    • People 16-39: 59.77%    
    • Grocery Shopper 18+: 52.03%    
    • Total People: 52.30%    
  • Sunday’s episode of Married At First Sight was the No. 1 program of the week across Australia with all key demos and Total People. To date, it has a National Total TV Average Audience of 2.547 million.
  • 9Now’s weekly share of the crucial 16-39 demographic is simply unmatched. With a share of 60% across FTA BVOD platforms, this was double its nearest commercial FTA rival.  
  • Married At First Sight took out the Top 4 programs of the week with People 25-54, People 16-39, GS 18+ and Total People.
  • The 9Network claimed seven of the Top 10 programs of the week with People 25-54 and People 16-39, and six of the Top 10 programs in Total People and GS 18+: Married at First Sight, 9News Sunday,9News, 60 Minutes and Thursday Night NRL all driving the 9Network.
  • 9News Sunday was the No. 1 news bulletin in Australia, with a National Total TV Average Audience of 1,382,100 million viewers, while 9News was the most-watched Mon-Friday bulletin with a National Total TV Average Audience of 1,321,400 million viewers.
