Nine wins in Total People Network and Total People Primary Channel shares.

Nine wins in 16-39 demographics in Network and Primary Channel shares.

Nine wins in 25-54 demographics in Network and Primary Channel shares.

9Gem was the highest multi channel in Total People.

10 Peach was the highest multi channel in 16-39.

10 Peach was the highest multi channel in 25-54.

ABC did beat 10 in total people network and primary channel shares. However, it should be noted that ABC have a massive advantage in older age brackets. In 16-39, 10 smashed ABC (21.2% to just 11.2%) and in 25-54 (21.3% to 12.8%) with network shares.

The main points to summarise this week from a Nine perspective are: 

  • Across the network shares (prime time), 9Network won the week with all key demos and Total People, recording the following shares:
    • People 25-54: 44.3%
    • People 16-39: 46.2%
    • Grocery Shopper + Child: 47.1%
    • Total People: 43.4%
  • Across the primary channel shares (prime time), Channel 9 won the week with all key demos and Total People, recording the following shares:
    • People 25-54: 30.3%
    • People 16-39: 32.1%
    • Grocery Shopper + Child: 35.4%
    • Total People: 31.2%
  • Sunday night’s Block Finale was the highest rating entertainment show for 2023 to date, leading the 9Network’s completely dominant Sunday win as Australia’s no.1 program with Total People and all key demos across the 5 City Metro, East Coast and in all metro capitals 
  • The Block Finale recorded a Live + VOD BVOD Audience of 252,000 (+19% YoY), with the Winner Announced segment the no.1 program live streamed against FTA broadcasters, recording a Live BVOD Audience of 205,000 (+29% YoY).

This series of The Block has averaged 1.382 million Total TV viewers per episode

Sunrise: #1 breakfast show of the week, 366,000 average national audience Monday to Friday. 20% more broadcast viewers than its closest rival.
