Shaun Micallef’s Parents’ Evening premieres Monday 28 September on 10 – Shaun Micallef and his son Gabe host a new comedy game show. Shaun Micallef’s Parents’ Evening premieres Monday 28 September at 7.30pm on 10 and 10 Streaming.
Families often believe they know one another best. This new format tests that confidence. Each week, famous Australians join a parent or adult child for a game built around years of family memories.
For 10, the series adds a new intergenerational comedy format to its spring schedule. Micallef and Gabe place the show’s family dynamic at the centre of its humour.
How Parents’ Evening works
Teams receive a topic. The parent then predicts how many questions their child will answer correctly. A successful prediction wins money for the team’s chosen charity. An incorrect answer sends the money to another team’s charity.
The premiere features media icon Ray Martin and his daughter Jenna. They compete against reality television personality Callum Hole and his father Phil. Comedian Joel Creasey also takes part with his mum Jenny.
Later episodes bring Jessica Rowe, Amanda Keller, Abbie Chatfield, Felix Cameron and Brett Blake into the game. They will put their family knowledge — and dignity — on the line.

Expect bragging rights, bruised egos and family memories tested in public. The game supports charity, but it also lets contestants reveal stories that perhaps should have stayed at home.
