Recap | Big Brother on 10 S1E1 – Big Brother Rolls Out The Welcome Mat For 12 New Housemates. Continues Monday To Friday At 7.30pm, And Sundays At 7pm.
Tonight, Big Brother welcomed 12 new housemates from every corner of the nation to chill and spill in his lush new pad. If only the walls could talk – oh, wait!
Queenslanders turned out in droves to apply for the show, so it is no surprise three locals have made the final cut. Allana, 45, is a social worker and a mother of three. She raised her kids with tenacity and grace, while still finding time to belt out tunes on the piano, sip gin by the beach, and keep her brows on fleek.
Next up it’s Bruce, the 25-year-old tradie with strong opinions on relationships and gender roles. Dubbed “trouble” by those who know him, he’s a wildcard guaranteed to ignite unexpected friendships and explosive moments.
Rounding out the Sunshine State is Disability Advocate, Conor. The 31-year-old lives loud and unapologetic with Tourette syndrome, turning stigma into strength by cracking jokes, being the life of the party and diving deep into real talk.

All the way from WA, Emily is a 30-year-old primary school teacher with a big heart, quick wit and sensitive nature, but she is the first to admit she is a hypochondriac and a germophobe.
Fellow West Australian, Holly, is a self-described ‘unicorn’. This 31-year-old model has travelled the globe for work, and prides herself on being untamed and impossible to ignore.
New South Wales is gifting the Big Brother house three iconic tenants. Colin, 21, the livewire from Wollongong, is an aspiring MMA fighter and proud mama’s boy. He is loud, loveable, and allergic to making his bed.
Michael, 49, is a publisher from Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. He is a devoted single dad of three teens who would prefer to stay home and watch movies with his kids than go on a date.
Coco, 30, is a single mum of three who recently walked away from a broken marriage to start afresh. She has survived two tumours, chest surgery, and the heartbreak of losing her dad, and now she is ready to bring her razor-sharp wit and raw honesty to the house.
Repping South Australia is Edward, the 31-year-old sales manager who is the youngest of six and a proud twin. He has never had a girlfriend, but Edward is here to challenge himself and prove that nice guys don’t finish last!
Victoria is checking three guests into Casa de Big Brother. Abiola, 24, is a musician who wants to be “the first openly fat, black, lesbian on TV”. She doesn’t just walk into a room – she arrives!
Mia, 23, has stepped away from her gig as a Bunnings retail assistant to bring her chaotic energy to the house. A proud South Asian woman, Mia is passionate about inclusivity and representation, but she admits she’ll happily burn a bridge if needed!
Hoping he is a cut above the rest is 21-year-old barber, Vincent. Born and bred in regional Victoria, Vincent grew up making wine, salami and passata with his Nonno as part of the “biggest Italian family in Australia”.
The house is jumping, but it’s not a party until one more housemate arrives. With more say than ever before, Australians will get to decide which housemate will round out the baker’s dozen.
Will audiences vote for 67-year-old retiree, Jane, who would be the oldest ever Big Brother housemate in Australian history? Or will they opt for loudmouth larrikin and nostalgia dealer, 36-year-old Mitch? Both are Victorian residents, but that is where the similarities end.
