The prequel to Gomorrah begins in Naples in 1977, where Pietro dreams of becoming like neighbourhood king Angelo the Siren.

The double episode gives SBS drama viewers a gritty origin story shaped by poverty, ambition, organised crime and the cost of wanting a different life.

Episode one follows Pietro as he discovers that all dreams come at a price after a rough night at Angelo’s side.
