Midsomer Murders on ABC and ABC iview S25E2 – When the groundskeeper at Midsomer Deverell’s famed bowling club is murdered at the end of the season, Barnaby and Winter reckon with deadly rivalries, forbidden romances, and shifty baristas in their search for the culprit.
In Midsomer Deverell, two teams are competing in the local lawn bowls’ championship as the season draws to a close.
With the teams locked in dead heat, the winner is too close to call with the naked eye. It is up to the referee and groundsman, Wilf Worrell, to decide.
Despite his measuring callipers showing a clear victory for the Orbitals… he fibs and calls a victory for the Whisperers. Hours later, Wilf is killed on the bowling green, his callipers now used against him.
