Tonight | Grantchester S11 on ABC: a Cambridge quiz-team death tests Alphy’s faith – Grantchester S11 investigates a student’s death at the University of Cambridge as Alphy’s faith begins to waver.
What To Expect
Rivalry turns deadly when a Cambridge quiz team member is found dead and Alphy’s bible appears at the scene.
The case has immediate personal stakes because Geordie jumps to conclusions while Alphy uncovers a darker world of bullying, secrecy and shame.
Away from the investigation, Mira’s role in Alphy’s life leaves him questioning love, identity and faith.
Geordie also faces a decision that could divide the pair, giving the episode both a murder mystery and a relationship fault line.
When To Watch
Grantchester continues to balance murder mystery with questions of faith, friendship and personal conviction. The crimes matter, but so do the moral pressures they place on Alphy and Geordie.
A Cambridge setting gives this episode a world of intellect, rivalry and status. When Alphy’s bible is found at the scene, the case becomes personal before the evidence has had time to settle.
